CCGS Vector
The CCGS Vector is a hydrographic survey vessel in the Canadian Coast Guard. A custom air handling unit (AHU) was manufactured by Tri-metal Fabricators who requested we assist with the controls and sequence of operations (SOO) for the marine-grade system. The controls included custom programming for multiple stages of electric heat, a marine-grade heat pump provided first-stage and heating cooling.
Copper Chimney Restaurant
The Copper Chimney Restaurant in Hotel Le Soleil, an Executive Group hotel, has been a long-time fixture of downtown Vancouver dining.
Eco Energy Concepts was asked to assist with lighting control upgrade and replacement of some legacy lighting.
A series of hard-to-reach architectural monopoint lights focused on a feature mural were in need of replacement. A custom scaffold was required to change the fixtures without damaging the mural, stairs, and bar. The scaffold was built, modern LED luminaires installed, and scaffold taken down within a 10 hour period to minimize downtime for the restaurant.
Eco updated all existing dimmers that had been haphazardly changed to a universal standard by Lutron. The selected switches were compatible with Lutron RA2 Select allowing us to bring the restaurant into the 21st Century.
Custom-engraved scene selections for the most-used daily lighting settings completed the modernization of this classic Indian restaurant.
